He started with recommendations for upscale restaurants till he realized we were comfortable with more local food and he adjusted accordingly. “I have been in Sri Lanka in August. Dhanushka is an excellent driver: his car is always clean, he drives very well, is always on time, and is so organized that he always filled up with gas while he wasn't with us. But for us, he was much more than that: he helped us learning about Sinhalese culture by explaining us everything we asked him, such as the basics of Buddhism, helping us eat truly authentic local food, and giving us valuable advices. I am celiac, and he helped me communicate with restaurant owners to make me eat gluten free meals. He explained us many things about how Sri Lanka works and did so with genuine pleasure. He enriched our experience. I highly recommend the tour with Dhanushka.”
